ODESA, APRIL 30th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― International Conference “Current issues of science and education” is held through 26 April ― 5 May in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The organizers of the conference reported today, 30 April.

According to the organizers, the conference is attended by famous scientists and representatives of institutional academic and educational intellectuals from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Lithuania. The organizers of the 13th International Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference “Current issues of science and education” are: the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Odesa National Mechnikov University, Ukrainian Association “Women in Science and Education”, with the support of the Kharkiv and Odesa regional state administrations, Northeastern and Southern Research Centre of NAS of Ukraine.

In the framework of the conference a number of round tables discussions are provided: the problems of civilizational choice, problems and prospects of the development of science in the context of globalization, the legacy of Vernadsky and modernity, the gender dimension in science, education and enlightenment.

Round table discussion “Problems of the civilizational choice” will be held on May 3 at 15:00 in the conference hall of the Victoria Hotel (Genuezskaya Str. 24a). It will bring together scholars and public figures from Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Simferopol, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Saratov, Khanty-Mansiysk.
