ODESA, MAY 28th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Acting first deputy mayor Kyrylo Shalamay has met the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Ukraine Ms. Lila Roldan Vazquez de Moine to discuss the resumption of amicable relations with the Argentine port of Mar del Plata, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the Office, acting first deputy mayor of Odesa Kyrylo Shalamay met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentina to Ukraine Ms. Lila Roldan Vazquez de Moine to discuss the resumption of amicable relations with the Argentine port of Mar del Plata.

“We are interested in cooperation in the field of transport, in particular transport of goods. There is a draft agreement on the twinning between Odesa and Argentine city of Mar del Plata. Both are the port cities that have similar characteristics: a resort, beaches, sport, culture, and film festivals. We hope that this project will be implemented very soon,” said the Ambassador.

For the realization of the declared intentions of the plan it was tentatively planned meetings of representatives of the Odesa City Council and the Embassy of Argentina.
