NIKOLAEV, JULY, 29TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — 47-meter motor yacht «Severina» has been launched at Open Joint Stock Company «Ship-building Factory «Liman», IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about this today, on July, 29th, by the press-service of the enterprise.

«Severina» motor yacht for today is greatest of floated in the CIS. The yacht is under construction for the Russian customer. Its full displacement is more than 400 t, register capacity is more than 600. The yacht is under construction under supervision of the Russian Sea Register of Navigation on a class of KM LU2 11 SP.

The basic characteristics of a yacht: length — 47,3 m, width – 9.61 m, height of a board on midship – 3.98 m, draft – 1.8 m.

Fuel tanks contain 86.3 cube m of fuel. A stock of fresh water-14.5 t. Autonomy on stocks of water and provisions — 5 days. Range of navigation – 3.5 thousand miles.

2 diesel engines “Volvo Penta” with capacity of 776 kw provide «Severina» with operational speed of a course of 14 knots. The maneuverability of a vessel is provided with the taxiing up device and comfortable conditions of navigation – rolling stabilizers.

Also works on construction of a forty-meter yacht are now conducted at a factory. Also furnish on «Anastass» which has been launched in April is being finished on «Liman».

There are 4 boats for frontier guards in the enterprise, 2 of them — for special services of other states.

INFORMATION: Open joint-stock company «Ship-building Factory «Liman» is engaged in construction and repair of vessels up to 70 m in length and dock weight up to 800 t. The factory has experience of construction of yachts of a representative class. Also «Liman» participates in the program of construction of high-speed patrol boats «Kalkan» for Boundary service of Ukraine. 24.99 % of «Liman» factory is owned by company «Santa» (Odessa), other actions are distributed between 3 physical persons.
