ODESA, JUNE 6th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The Odesa Governor Eduard Matviychuk has met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia in Ukraine H.E. Dr Argita Daudze, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of Odesa Regional State Administration reported today, 6 June.

The Ambassador noted that it was her first visit to the Odesa Region after the visiting the region of the President of Latvia Andris Berzins. H.E. Dr Daudze spoke about the cultural and social integration of the two friendly countries and expressed the desire to organize a round table on the establishment of transit routes between the Odesa Region and Latvia.

In return, the Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration noted the importance of cooperation between friendly nations, not only in the socio-economic, but also in the cultural field. In particular, H.E. Dr Argita Daudze and the Governor agreed to hold the Days of Latvia in Odesa in 2014.
