ODESA, JULY 23th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Odesa City Mayor Oleksiy Kostusev together with the Spanish delegation members festively have laid flowers to the monument to José de Ribas, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the information, 22 July, 2013, Odesa City Mayor Oleksiy Kostusev held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Spain to Ukraine Mr. José Rodríguez Moyano. The diplomatic mission head accompanies the arrival of Spanish Navy “Blas de Lezo” frigate commander Mr. Eugenio Díaz del Río to Odesa. The Spanish fleet flagman will stay in Odesa port water zone till 23 July.

In the network of the visit, the Spanish delegation members together with Mr. Kostusev visited Deribasovskaya Street and festively laid monuments to the city’s founders José de Ribas (originally José Pascual Domingo de Ribas y Boyons).

Besides, an official meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Spain to Ukraine Mr. José Rodríguez Moyano with Odesa City First Deputy Mayor Mykola Ilchenko took place in the City Hall.
