ODESA, JULY 29th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — 14 athletes from Odesa region are taking part in the World Games for non-Olympic sports, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The Department for Physical Training and Sports of Odesa Regional State Administration reported today, 29 July.

According to the Office, IX World Games for non-Olympic sports are held in Calais (Colombia) from 26 July to 4 August. 14 athletes from Odesa region are in the Ukrainian national team — the number of participants from Odesa region is in the second place among the regions of Ukraine. The athletes participate in 6 sports.

Thus, the region is represented in the following sports: bowling, beach handball, canoe marathon, acrobatics, karate WKF, and sumo.
