ODESA, JULY 31st, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Three athletes from Odesa have got prizes at European Championship Climbing Championship held 25-28 July in Imst, Austria, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The Odesa City Council Information Office reported today, 31 July.

According to the Office, Youth Championship for rock climbing took place 25-28 July in Imst (Austria). The competition was attended by 100 top athletes from 15 countries of Europe, particularly from Ukraine, Russia, Greece, Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Denmark, France, Austria and Sweden. The Ukrainian team included students of sports school №12 of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Odesa City Council.

Over the four days of competition Odesa won prizes in the form of “speed”: the 2nd place — Oleksandr Volkov and Konstantin Dmitriev, the 3rd place — Mykyta Lukyanov.
