ODESA, AUGUST 16th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The first Ukrainian team from Odesa National Polytechnic University will take part in the Hungarian series of races Formula Student, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
The participants of the event reported today, 16 August.
According to the participants, 22-25 August, the first Ukrainian team of Formula Student, representing the Odesa National Polytechnic University, will take part in the Hungarian race series. The aim of this competition is to build, design a race car and learning students through teamwork practices. In addition, the team should provide all the design documentation for the project and to prove that the applied technological solutions are optimal. Then it will be needed to provide economic justification of the car effectiveness, as well as to develop a business plan for small-scale production of his car.
The team consists of: Oleksandr Romanov, Mykhailo Alekseyenko, Viktoria Ptytsya, Mykhailo Novak, Maksim David, Andriy Stakanov, Maksim Klitsman and team captain — Vadim Khamray.
FS ONPU Team worked on a prototype race car “Dreamer” for two years. The car has massive technical features and speeds up to 100 km/h in 4 seconds.
