ODESA, AUGUST 15th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Handball Club “Portovik” has gone to the international tournament in Poland, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the press service, Yuzhny club will participate in the international tournament “Memoriał Jerzego Klempela” from 15 to 18 August.

The current tenth tournament in memory of Jerzy Klempel gathered twelve teams from four countries. The greatest representation of clubs had the host country — five participants from Poland. Three teams of Ukraine and three from Belarus, and one team from Russia.

Participants are distributed in two groups. Group “A” includes: “SKA” (Minsk, Belarus), “ZTR” (Zaporizhia, Ukraine), “Gomel” (Belarus), “Zaria Kaspija” (Astrakhan, Russia), “Azoti Pulavi” (Poland) and “Wybrzeze” (Gdansk, Poland). Group “B” includes: “Portovik” and “Motor” (Kyiv, Ukraine), “Handball Club Meshkov Brest” (Brest, Belarus), “MMTS” (Kwidzyn, Poland), “Pogon” (Szczecin, Poland), “Zaglembe” (Lubin, Poland).
