NIKOLAEV, AUGUST, 02ND, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — The Leader of People’s party, the head of fraction of People’s party in Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Litvin has highly estimated work of his colleague — the governor of the Nikolaev region Alexey Garkusha, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about this yesterday, on August, 1st, at a press conference during the official visit of V. Litvin to Nikolaev.

V. Litvin has met labour collective of Open Joint-Stock Company «Nikolaevkhleb», visited Meshkovo-Pogorelovskaya boarding school and has held a meeting with an active of the regional organization of People’s party during his visit.

Summing up A. Garkusha's work on a post of the governor of the region, the party leader has noted that if Ukraine had at least half of such governors in the regions, there would be much less problems.

Besides V. Litvin has told that A. Garkusha could be in simply a «respectable person» in VR but «he has incured this burden» — to govern the region.

«However it has been difficult, as the political interests press, he managed to make the main thing — to restore controllability. He managed partially to replace the staff (partially because not all depends on the head of regional state administration).

Such crop has been collected not only because there were corresponding weather conditions but also because of the corresponding organization of work. I travel much across Ukraine and I see what striking changes have occured in the Nikolaev region», — V. Litvin has told.
