ODESA, AUGUST 23rd, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The project of the automatic exchange of information between customs services of Moldova and Ukraine, sponsored by the EU Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM), has been cost 150,000 euro Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
The Operation and Quality Control Coordinator, Mr Rosario De Blasio noted yesterday, 22 August, during a press tour in support of the contest for journalists “Border and reform”, which aims to inform the public of Moldova and Ukraine on the reforms undertaken by working border agencies.
“We are here to represent our colleagues the best practices of the European Union. And you have also heard that there is a system of exchange of information between customs of Ukraine and Moldova. This project was sponsored by EUBAM and cost 150,000 euro. It includes both the server and the technical aspects and training. “Green” and “Red” corridors are also a system of exchange of preliminary information, it is kind of tool for risk assessment. This risk analysis helps to improve customs and border control, improve trade, customs security of the country,” Mr Rosario De Blasio noted.
