ODESA, AUGUST 24th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― A concert, a photo exhibition, a charity exhibition and tasting of the national dishes of the peoples of the world, dedicated to the anniversaries of twin-cities and partnerships relations with a number of foreign cities will be held 2 September, on the date of the 219th Anniversary of the founding of Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Odesa City Council Information Office reported yesterday, 23 August.

According to the Office, in 2013, Odesa celebrates anniversaries of twin-cities and partnerships relations with the cities of Alexandria (45), Lodz (20 years), Ningbo (5 years), Piraeus (20 years), Taganrog (20 years) and Qingdao (20 years).

As part of the celebration it is planned a concert, a photo exhibition dedicated to the above-mentioned cities. In addition, the charity fair will be held, where people can taste traditional dishes of the countries in which the city is located, and purchase a variety of souvenirs. The money collected will be used to purchase medical equipment for one of the municipal hospital.
