ODESA, SEPTEMBER 16th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ¬― Odesa athlete Ramil Gadzhyyev has become the champion in the weight category of 70 kg of the Junior World Boxing Championships in Kyiv, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The Ukrainian Boxing Federation noted today, 16 September.

According to the Federation, “Odesa athlete Ramil Gadzhyyev took the first gold medal of the national team of Ukraine in the World Boxing Championships, held in Kyiv. In the first round, he knocks his opponent down... As a result, the athlete of national team of Kazakhstan Kadyrbek Sadykbek lost 3-0.”

Ramil Gadzhyyev trains in the sports club “Jaguar”. In 2011, he won the silver medal at the European Schoolchildren's Boxing Championship in Grozny in the weight category up to 56 kg.
