ODESA, SEPTEMBER 16th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ¬― Odesa athlete Oleksandr Matveychuk has won Moscow International Peace Marathon, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the information, yesterday, 15 September, Moscow International Peace Marathon started and finished in the sports complex “Luzhniki”.

Absolute winners on the main race were Oleksandr Matveychuk from Odesa and Irina Smolnikova from Karaganda.

O.Matveychuk previously won the Moscow Peace Marathon. This time, he has overcome the distance with the result of 2:19.36. Second and third places went to two more representatives of Ukraine ― Igor Geletiy and Sergiy Marchuk.

Marathon route passed through the main streets of Moscow. More than 7 thousand athletes, including 500 foreigners came to the starting line to begin the race.
