ODESA, SEPTEMBER 23rd, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ¬― International Odesa JazzFest has been held 20―22 September, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of Odesa Regional State Administration reported today, 23 September.

According to the press service, the III International Jazz Festival “Odesa JazzFest” was held from 20 to 22 September, with the support of the chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Eduard Matviychuk. At the start of Odesa Jazz Festival it was a great openair concert, which was held in the City Garden.

“We hold a lot of cultural events, many festivals, so our city deserves to be called the cultural capital of Ukraine. International jazz festival has been held in our city for the third time, and each year the number of participants and the geography of the festival are expanding,” the Head of the Department of Culture, Tourism, Nationalities and Religion at the Odessa Regional State Administration Vladislav Stankov said.

In addition to the main concert venue ― the Odesa Philharmonic concerts, the festival took place in Odesa clubs. The festival was attended by musicians from Ukraine, Bulgaria, Poland, Georgia, Germany, the Republic of Cuba and other countries.
