ODESA, OCTOBER 1st, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ¬― A meeting of acting vice Mayor Kyrylo Shalamay with the German delegation ― representatives of the Hanns Seidel Foundation and Hanns Seidel Foundation’s Institute for International Cooperation was held in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Odesa City Council Information Office noted today, 1 October.

According to the Office, in order to strengthen cooperation Acting vice Mayor Kyrylo Shalamay met with the Chairman of the Hanns Seidel Foundation Hans Zehetmair, as well as with the head of the Hanns Seidel Foundation’s Institute for International Cooperation Mr. Christian J. Hegemer. At the meeting, the German guests shared their impressions about Odesa and expressed interest in further cooperation with the Odesa City Council.

“During the walk around Odesa I noted how organically old buildings, monuments and modern buildings coexist. The architectural ensemble of the city is developed in the spirit of the time, with much attention paid to the preservation of cultural heritage,” Mr. Zehetmair mentioned.

During the talks it was told about the development priorities of Odesa.
