ODESA, OCTOBER 2nd, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Credit Rating has confirmed positive bank deposit rating for Pivdennyi and Marfin Bank, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the rating agency reported today, 2 October.

According to the press service, Credit-Rating announced the outcome of the review bank deposit ratings, previously assigned to the Ukrainian banks. The ratings of 18 banks were confirmed at the same level. The rating of one bank was suspended. In particular, Marfin Bank today has a rating of ‘5’ (highest reliability), Pivdennyi rated ‘4+’ (high reliability).

Reliability ratings of bank deposits are dynamic and may be revised in case events change and/or there are changes in the performance of the bank, which may affect the ability of the banking institutions in a timely manner to pay for bank deposits.

INFORMATION: Founded in 2001 Credit-Rating is the first rating agency in Ukraine committed to assessment of issuer's solvency and to assignment of credit ratings pursuant to the National rating scale. Since 2003 the agency's rating estimations have been officially recognized by Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. Since 2004 Credit-Rating has been an authorized agency of State Commission for Securities and Stock Market for assigning ratings to economic entities, to industries and municipalities. Starting from 2007 the agency assigns corporate governance ratings.
