ODESA, OCTOBER 2nd, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Events dedicated to the Independence Day of the People's Republic of China are held today, 2 October, in South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the organizers, today, 2 October, events dedicated to the Independence Day of the People's Republic of China are held in South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky. The celebrations are attended by special guests from China, in particular, two leading professors of the PRC, and the PRC Consul in Odesa on Culture and Education Sung Yangwen, students and teachers, representatives of educational institutions, community organizations and all those interested in Eastern culture will come to Odesa.

The programme was prepared by the Educational-informational and cultural centre “Confucius Institute”. It is planned an art exhibition of works of Chinese students and a photo exhibition “Summer Camp in China — 2013” and a concert. Also karaoke contest and other activities will be held with the support of the municipal authorities.
