ODESA, OCTOBER 14th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ¬― International conference “Ukraine and Romania: Partners or Competitors?” is taking place in Odesa today, 14 October, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
According to the organizers of the conference, the international conference “Ukraine and Romania: Partners or Competitors?” is organized jointly by Odesa Branch of National Institute for Strategic Studies, Friedrich Ebert Foundation Representation in Ukraine and General Consul of Romania in Odesa.
The conference “Ukraine and Romania: Partners or Competitors?” is held with a view to strengthening dialogue and new means of communication and cooperation between the two countries by analyzing the state of bilateral relations and make appropriate recommendations to the leadership of Ukraine and Romania.
Ukrainian and Romanian experts, diplomats, people’s deputies of Ukraine, representatives of the executive authorities and local self-government participated in the conference.
During the conference will be discussed the following issues: the European context of the Ukrainian-Romanian relations, aspects of security policy, bilateral relations, socio-economic aspects of bilateral relations and other issues.
