ODESA, OCTOBER 15th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The works on the implementation of the Port Community Single Information System “Single window ― a local solution” is carrying out in Yuzhny and Illichivsk ports, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The Head of International Relations, European Integration and Logistics of the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine Vitaliy Romanchenko announced today, 15 October, at the International Transport Conference “Trends in the transport sector: the development of infrastructure and multimodal transportation”.

“The important point in the port’s development is the introduction of the Port Community Single Information System. Starting from 2 September, together with the South Customs and the Ministry of Income and Fees, Ukrainian port withdrew from the paper version of cargo execution. It allows serve loads faster and more efficiently. A working group operating in Illichivsk port has been already established. It will deal with the implementation of the system there. Such work has been started in the Yuzhny port,” Mr Romanchenko noted.
