ODESA, OCTOBER 18th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The meeting of the members of the December First initiative group with the EU Ambassador to Ukraine has taken place in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The meeting was held yesterday, 17 October, at Odesa Regional Institute of Public Administration of National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine in the framework of the “Idea of Europe”.

The meeting was attended by the head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Yan Tombinski, Honorary President of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, the Hero of Ukraine, the duty head of the First of December initiative group Vyacheslav Bryukhovetsky, director of the Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, philosopher, social activist, Holder of the Order of Liberty Evgen Sverstyuk, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Internuncio of Ukraine Danylo Lubkivsky.

Issue of the meeting is devoted to the development of freedom and democracy, the Association Agreement with the European Union, national perspectives and Ukraine’s contribution to the creation of the present and future of Europe.
