ODESA, OCTOBER 18th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Honorary President of the National University of Kyiv -Mohyla Academy, the Hero of Ukraine, the duty head of the First of December initiative group Vyacheslav Bryukhovetsky considers that the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU is not manna from heaven, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mr Bryukhovetsky noted yesterday, 17 October, during the interview in Odesa.

“The signing of the Association Agreement does not mean the joining to the EU. It is like a student who is enrolled in the university. Then he will have to pass all the exams and stuff. The difference of the Customs Union and the European Union is that the CU offers: “Come, come, we take you, we pull you there”, though Belarus wants to move out of the union. And the EU says: “You will fulfill all the conditions first, and then you get a diploma of EU member”.”
