ODESA, NOVEMBER 4th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Galati County Council President Nicolae Dobrovici-Bacalbasa has said that the Danube is a great wealth and potential means of development for all European states, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mr Dobrovici-Bacalbasa noted 31 October during the opening of the international business forum “Danube synergy”.

“We always talk about creating Lower Danube Euroregion and at the last do nothing. Curiously enough, the most important geopolitical issue has become an empty space... But in spite of all, it is difficult to understand how the river, which is considered to be the seventh transport corridor of the European Union, transports nothing. Danube is a great wealth and potential means of development for all European countries,” he mentioned.
