ODESA, NOVEMBER 12th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― XIII Festival “New British Film” will be held in the cinema “Rodina” through 21-27 November, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of “Arthouse Traffic” company noted today, 12 November.

According to the press service, the British Council in Ukraine and “Arthouse Traffic” represent XIII festival “New British Film” ― an annual compilation of the most striking cinema innovations of UK this season. The festival will be held at the “Rodina” cinema from 21 to 27 November.

The Festival will be opened with screening of the film “The King of Soho” ― 21 November, “The Selfish Giant” ― 22 November, special event “Frankenstein”: National theatre live” ― 23 November, “Royal Weekend” ― 24 November, “Quartet” ― 25 November, “Lover on wheels” ― 26 November. The festival will be closed with a series of short films 27 November.

This year’s festival “New British Film” and the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) present the film “The Selfish Giant” based on the fairy tale by Oscar Wilde dedicated to the World Children’s Day.

In addition to Odesa, the festival will take place in Kyiv, Donetsk, Ternopil, Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk, Vinnitsa, Lviv, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi.
