ODESA, DECEMBER 16th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Third Diplomatic Charity Christmas Fair has been opened in Odesa on Friday, 14 December.

The opening took place on Friday, 14 December, in the Exhibition Complex of Odesa Commercial Sea Port.

The opening of the fair was attended by the Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Mykola Skoryk, the Chairman of the Odesa Regional Council Mykola Tyndyuk and acting Mayor, Secretary of the Odessa City Council Oleg Bryndak, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Odesa.

The ceremonial ribbon was cut by the diplomats and leaders of the city and region.

This charitable action was aimed at fundraising and further purchasing medical facilities for Odesa Regional Children’s clinical hospital.

The programme provided the concert of national and cultural groups, exhibitions of the best samples of the products manufactured by leading companies in the region, tasting dishes of national cuisines.

The workshops on arts and crafts for children and adults were held. In addition, all visitors could purchase New Year and Christmas gifts, Christmas decorations, jewelry, cosmetics and clothing.
