ODESA, JANUARY 30th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― II International scientific conference “Ethnic culture in a globalized world” has been launched in Odesa National Mechnikov University, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of ONU noted today, 30 January.

According to the information, a two-day international conference “Ethnic culture in a globalized world” started at the History Department of ONU 30 January.

In the framework of the conference, the scientists from leading universities of Ukraine and Belarus will submit reports on the problems of preservation of regional variants of the traditional culture, topical issues of ethnology, social and cultural characteristics of the South of Ukraine, the value of the Belarusian folklore festivals in the preservation of national identity, etc.
