ODESA, FEBRUARY 28th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Yesterday, February 27, the chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Mykola Skoryk and the chairman of the Odesa Regional Council Mykola Tyndyuk have held a meeting with the President of “Lower Danube” Euroregion ― the head of the Tulcea County council, Romania, Horia Teodorescu, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
The main purpose of the meeting was the discussion of interregional cooperation between Odesa region and Tulcea County. The sides condemned the results of the implementation of joint projects, as well as further cooperation plans for the near future.
During the official meeting Mykola Tyndyuk noted that “Danube region does not share Odesa and Romania but unites. I want to say that during our cooperation the project gained a lot in terms of the real economy. We are pleased that Romania is a full member of the EU. I am sure that the participation in this project of Odesa region is developing Ukraine.”
