ODESA, MARCH 7th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― International exhibition-fair of handmade “Golden Hands” will be held from 4 to 6 April 2014 in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
The exhibition organizers noted today, 7 March.
According to the organizers, “due to political and economic situation in Ukraine and possible provocations during the exhibition “Golden Hands” on March 7-9, the exhibition will be adjourned until April 4-6. We hope that the current government will be able to stabilize the situation in the country with the least losses.”
As it was noted before, “the main purpose of this event is: the support of folk artists, children’s art; the support of the domestic producers of goods for needlework; preservation of national traditions; popularization of crafts, promotion of healthy lifestyles and modern hobby among children and youth, the revival of family values; gathering of people who are fond of creativity and crafts, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity and social status; help children with cancer and children from poor families.”
The exhibition “Golden Hands” will present a wide range of crafted products in a variety of techniques, painting on wood, glass, silk, metal, and various knitted products, dolls, felting, jewelry for every taste, cosmetics, handmade soap, sweet bouquets, cards, scrapbooking, macramé, tatting, leather goods; patchwork; embroidery, gifts, interior toys; decoupage hair ornaments, trees of beads and stones, fruit and coffee trees, sculpting and pottery; author bag, origami, a large selection of embroidery.
