ODESA, MARCH 25th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ─ Rector of Odesa National Mechnikov University Igor Koval has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia in Ukraine Argita Daudze, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of Odesa National Mechnikov University noted today, 25 March.

According to the information, the parties agreed to hold joint exhibitions, round tables, amateur concerts and lectures.

“The development of cooperation with Latvia is an important part of the international work of the Odesa University. Last year, in collaboration with the Embassy of Latvia, university scientists wrote articles about the programme “Eastern Partnership” and European Integration of Ukraine,” Mr Koval noted.

According to the Ambassador, Latvia is actively interested in the culture of Ukraine.
