ODESA, JUNE 10th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — The International Jury of the Fifth Odesa International Film Festival has been announced, Context-prichernomorie correspondent reports.

President of OIFF Victoria Tigipko noted today, June 10, during a press conference in Odesa.

According to V. Tigipko, in 2014 International Jury will be headed by British director, producer, screenwriter Peter Webber. His debut feature film «Girl with a Pearl Earring» with Scarlett Johansson and Colin Firth in the lead roles has received three nominations for «Oscar», two nominations «Golden Globe» and 10 nominations of British Academy. Ukrainian filmmaker, winner of the 2012 OIFF Sergei Loznitsa, whose film «Maidan» shocked Cannes Film Festival this year, the Israeli actress Evgenia Dodina, Belarusian actress and director Olga Dykhovichnaya and French actor and critic Jean-Philippe Tesse.

«We are very proud that we were managed to get these people into the international jury. It shows the high status of our festival, she added.

As previously reported, the Fifth Odesa International Film Festival will take place in Odesa from 11 to 19 July 2014.
