ODESA, SEPTEMBER 4th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Igor Palitsa has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia in Ukraine Argita Daudze, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the press service, September 3, the Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Igor Palitsa met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Ukraine A. Daudze.

During the event, the parties expressed interest in the growth of trade and economic cooperation institutions between Odesa Region and the Republic of Latvia.

The Governor noted that, one of the strategic areas of cooperation could be questions of marine logistics, provide transportation through ports of Odesa Region and the Republic of Latvia.

Latvian Ambassador to Ukraine supported the initiatives and noted that the diplomatic establishment plans to hold Latvian Culture Days in Odesa in April next year and organize multi-sector forum within this event.
