ODESA, SEPTEMBER 8th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria has begun its working in Lviv, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
The press service of the People’s Deputy Anton Kisse noted today, September 8.
According to the press service, September 5, on the eve of the Day of Unification of Bulgaria, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria, which will serve the residents of Lviv, Ternopil and Transcarpathian regions was opened.
Among the honored guests of the event were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria in Ukraine Krasimir Minchev, President of the “Association of Bulgarians in Ukraine”, MP Anton Kisse.
This is not the first consulate of Bulgaria in Ukraine. These institutions operate in Kyiv and Odesa regions with significant Bulgarian diaspora. Also the Embassy of Bulgaria in Ukraine is presented in Kyiv.
“The activities of the consulate will have inevitable consequences of deepening Ukrainian-Bulgarian cooperation, and will testify that Ukraine is on the right and irreversible way to Europe. Without a doubt, it will contribute to closer bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Bulgaria in the field of science, culture, education and the economy,” K. Minchev mentioned congratulating the people of Lviv with the opening of the institution.
