ODESSA, DECEMBER 12th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Politician Sergiy Grynevetsky believes that enacted by the US Congress “The Ukraine Freedom Support Act of 2014” can be commented only after the signature of US President Barack Obama, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mr Grynevetsky noted today, 12 December, during the interview.

“The final comment can be done only after the document will be adopted and signed by Barack Obama... After the signature it should be taken the original version of the law and the final, and then to compare them,” he mentioned.

According to a series of Ukrainian media, the US Senate passed the bill The Ukraine Freedom Support Act of 2014 (S.2828). The author of the document is Senator Robert Menendez. The bill was unanimously supported by Senate.

Later, the bill was approved also by US House of Representatives.

The bill defines Ukraine as a military ally of the United States outside NATO, reduces Ukraine’s dependence on Russian gas and assists the Ukrainian army and refugees.

In addition, the bill provides for the imposition of new sanctions against Russia.
