ODESSA, JANUARY 19th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — In 2014, the total turnover of Yuzhny sea port amounted to 47.3 million tons, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Administration of the Ports of Ukraine noted today, 19 January.

According to the information, in 2014 cargo turnover amounted to 47 million 431.7 thousand tons — a new record production figures of all marine terminals operating in the area.

The volume of export of goods amounted to 36 million 860 thousand tons (+ 14.6% as compared to 2013). The volume of imports — 4 million 96.7 thousand tons (+ 18.4% as compared to 2013).

In 2014, volume growth was observed, in particular, grain, oil, ore, oil and container cargo.

Thus, grain cargo handled in 2014 amounted to 9 million 139.8 thousand tons (in 2013 — 6 million 165.3 thousand tons); container — 54 thousand 380 thousand tons (in 2013 – 46.264 thousand tons); oil — 1 million 5.6 thousand tons (in 2013 — 616.6 thousand. tons); petrol — 601.1 thousand tons (in 2013 — 261 thousand tons); ore — 24 million 375.3 thousand tons (in 2013 — 22 million 332.5 thousand tons).
