KHERSON, FEBRUARY 2nd, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Kherson authorities intend to revive the point of SE “Berdyansk Commercial Sea Port” in Genichesk, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Kherson Regional State Administration noted today, 2 February.

According to the information, Kherson Region authorities intend to revive the point of the State Enterprise “Berdyansk Commercial Sea Port” in Genichesk. This was stated by the Chairman of the regional state administration Andriy Putilov, who had a working visit to several strategic points of Genichesk district, among which a separate division of SE “Berdyansk Commercial Sea Port”.

Condition of the point will be analyzed by specialists. Now it is on the verge of closing, so in order to attract infrastructures, it should be further explored for its potential.

“In the near future we plan to develop investment passport of the region, and this object also will be added if worthwhileness will be proven. It is necessary to revive the economy and breathe new life into the once successfully operating facilities,” the governor noted.
