ODESSA, FEBRUARY 2nd, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Administration of Odessa port has held civil protection exercises, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of Odessa Commercial Sea Port noted today, February 2.

According to the information, January 31 as part of measures prescribed by the Code of Civil Defense of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine №47-r dated 26.01.2015, (on introduction of high alert in several areas of the country), evacuation drills of the personnel of Odessa port administration in the port of protective structures on the premises. Exercises were led by the Port Authority chief Mikhail Sokolov.

As the deputy head of the Odessa Port Safety and Security Igor Kizlak, the evacuation of the entire workers was held for the first time. Along with the elaboration of the action to obtain staff of personal protective equipment, the smooth advancement and placement in shelters, also electronic transmission of emergency to the heads of departments was tested. This system developed by the Information Technology Service of Administration Port of Odessa.
