MYKOLAIV, FEBRUARY 11th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Mykolaiv Mayor Yuriy Granaturov intends to conclude a cooperation agreement with one of the cities in the UK, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of Mykolaiv City Council noted today, February 11.

According to the information, today a meeting between Deputy Head of Mission of the British Embassy in Ukraine Martin Day and Mykolaiv Mayor Yuriy Granaturov was held.

“It will be nice if our half-million city find trusted friends and partners in the name of representatives of the United Kingdom,” the Mayor said.

Mr Day explained that it is very important to understand what is happening in the regions, so he went to the South of Ukraine. He also noted that the mission is looking for new opportunities for cooperation. In Odessa, for example, the investments of British assets take the 3rd place. He said that British businessmen are looking for objects for investments, and they have a choice: Ukraine, India or China.
