ODESSA, MARCH 18th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — The head of state enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” Andriy Amelin has said that the project for dredging in the harbor waters of Yuzhny port in the second half of 2014 has already brought more than USD 10 million of profit, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Andriy Amelin noted today, March 18, during a press conference: “The results of the SE “USPA” in 2014 and plans for 2015”.

“Income of USPA for 2014 amounted to UAH 14 billion 491 million 466 thousand. Costs of investment activity — 967 million. Net profit amounted to UAH half a billion.

Speaking of infrastructure projects — in 2014 we have partially completed investment in the Yuzhny port, which allowed us to reach the depth of 19 meters at the pier and declare land at 17.5 meters in the end of the year. This solution is allowed to increase revenues by USD 8 million for the second half — until the end of the year. To date, already a little more than USD 10 million comes with this project,” he said. “We also started dredging in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi port. There is a pretty serious situation depth — in the depths of the passport are 5.5 meters, and landing — around 3 meters...” he noted.
