ODESSA, JUNE 3rd, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — The mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov and the delegation of EBRD have discussed possibilities of investment in the transport infrastructure of the city during the meeting, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Information Department of Odessa City Council noted today, 3 June.

According to the information, on June 2, 2015, in Odessa City Council was held the meeting of the mayor Gennady Trukhanov with the delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) headed by Mr. Paul Vlaanderen. The delegation included 10 directors of the Bank, which is almost half of all shareholders. The meeting was also attended by Director of the European Investment Bank and representatives of the EBRD in Ukraine.

Welcoming the participants of the meeting, the mayor said that this meeting is considered to be a factor of European financial community’s confidence to the local authorities. Gennady Trukhanov briefly presented economic and political situation in the city, spoke about the prospects of development, as well as problems and needs of Odessa.

After considering the results of the meeting, the head of delegation of EBDR directors, Mr. Paul Vlaanderen on behalf of participants of the meeting expressed willingness to assist in the development of the transport sphere in Odessa.
