As the press service noted, the transshipment of a new cargo — bulk ilmenite arrived at the port from Mezhdurechensk Mining and Processing Plant (Zhytomyr region) has been assimilated in Ilyichivsk seaport.
First shipload (11 thousand tons) has been accumulated in the specialized complex for transshipment of sulfur and shipped on the vessel “Nazlican” (deadweight — 11 thousand 99 tons, length — 135 m).
“The plans for the administration of the Ilyichivsk seaport and port operator SE “Ilyichivsk Commercial Sea Port” — processing 20 thousand tons of cargo and more than a month, there are several ship parties. Involvement of traffic compensates the decline in cargo handling of sulfur and will keep the set targets,” said Deputy Head of Operations Administration Ilyichivsk seaport Vyacheslav Gasun.
