ODESSA, NOVEMBER 19th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — A protection of port facilities and anti-terrorism measures will be increased in the Yuzhny port, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
The press service of the Yuzhny Sea Port noted today, 19 November.
According to the information, measures to enhance port security and anti-terrorism protection were discussed during the workshop in the Port Authority. The meeting was attended by representatives of the law enforcement and regulatory authorities, as well as the heads of the security services and business entities of the Yuzhny Sea Port.
The meeting was conducted due to a number of terrorist attacks in Western Europe, which killed a large number of people continuing tight state of the military-political situation in the Middle East and the East of Ukraine.
Head of Maritime Safety Administration of Yuzhny Sea Port asked the Chairman of SE “APU” to increase measures to enhance the protection of the territory, waters vessels and objects of all enterprises of Yuzhny Sea Port.
During the meeting, representatives of the anti-terrorist center at the Security Service f Ukraine in Odessa region held a briefing session on the procedure for the identification, awareness and actions of the personnel of enterprises in the event of emergency situations, as well as the prevention and timely response to acts of unlawful interference with business seaport.
