ODESSA, DECEMBER 2nd, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — In January-November 2015 the volume of goods imported into the ports of Ukraine increased by 20.3% compared toJanuary-November 2014, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The Chairman of the SE “The Administration of the Sea Ports of Ukraine” Andriy Amelin noted today, December 2, during a press conference.

According to him, processing of imported goods in the ports of Ukraine for the period is amounted to 16 million 500 thousand tons, which is 13.7% more than the same period last year.

A. Amelin also noted that the processing of export totaled 93 million 732 thousand tons. It is an increase 0.3%.compated to 2014.

As to the handling of goods in transit — 14 million 830 thousand tones and decreased by 20.3% compared with January-November 2014.

The growth of the processing of cabotage cargo amounted to 142.1%. The total volume of cargo is 6 million 699 thousand tones. Recycling containers in seaports decreased by 29% and amounted to 435 thousand 800 TEU.
