ODESSA, DECEMBER 7th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Operational dredging in the Yuzhny port has begun, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
The press service of the port noted today, December 7.
According to the press service, the port has already started a work on operational dredging. A project work was developed by the state-owned enterprise “Chernomorniiproekt”. It provides the phased achievement of the passport dimensions of internal ship canal and operating Yuzhny Sea Port totaling about 2 million cubic meters, as well as maintaining the characteristics of the water area achieved by eliminating the effects of permanent annual siltation bottom at a rate of about 500 thousand cubic meters.
As part of the first phase of the passport provided for achieving the depth at the berths ¹¹7, 8, 9, a port operated by the SE “Yuzhny Commercial Sea Port”, and ¹¹16, 17 port operators that act of LLC “TIS-Grain” and LLC “TIS-Fertilizers”. It is also envisaged to achieve the depth of the internal passport of the shipping channel and the territorial waters of berths ¹¹16, 17, which will significantly improve navigation conditions.
