ODESSA, FEBRUARY 2nd, 2016, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — 44 vessels with the capacity 20 thousand 640 containers have been processed on the berths №№1-k and 2--k of Odessa Commercial Sea Port, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of Administration of Ports of Ukraine noted today, February 2.

According to the press service, the first month of the current year showed a trend of growth capacity of the utilization of the new container terminal, built on berths based №№1-k, 2-k of the administration of the Odessa seaport.

Since the beginning of January, 3 containerships were processed on the berth №2-k of the Administration of Odessa seaport. The total processing in new berths since the beginning of the year amounted to 1 867 thousand TEU (20-foot equivalent container) including unloading — 1 155 thousand TEU, loading — 712 TEU.

Thus, during the operation of berths №№1-k, 2-k of the administration of the Odessa sea port 44 vessel with 20 thousand 640 containers were handled.
