MYKOLAIV, FEBRUARY 1st, 2016, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Head of the Administration of Mykolaiv seaport Alexander Popov said that the profit of the port in 2015 increased by 78% and reached UAH 428 million, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Mykolaiv Commercial Sea Port reported today, February 1.

According to the press service, Alexander Popov reported that the volume of cargo transshipment by the port operators of Mykolaiv seaport on the results of 2015 amounted to 22 million 233 thousand tons, which is 7% higher than in 2014. Thus Mykolaiv seaport came into the third place in terms of volume of cargo handling among the Ukrainian ports, give way to Yuzhny and the Odessa seaports.

Progress transshipment harbor allowed increasing financial performance significantly. In particular, the income part of the Mykolaiv port was UAH 625 million, which is 82% higher than last year's figures. Profit of the port increased to 78% to UAH 428 million. Tax deductions and mandatory payments to budgets of all levels of administration of the port listed in the amount of UAH 79 million, which is 30% higher than last year.

“The average of monthly salary of employees of the port amounted to almost UAH 9 thousand. There are no debts in wages to employees. Wages will be paid within the deadline set by the collective agreement,” said the head of the port.

In 2015, retired left 53 personnel administration, of which 51 have received severance pay in the amount of 5 average monthly salaries.
