ODESSA, MARCH 11th, 2016, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — In February Ilyichivsk port has increased its grain transshipment by 30.5% compared to the previous year, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Ilyichivsk Commercial Sea Port reported today, March 11.

According to the information, Ilyichivsk Commercial Sea Port processed 438 thousand tons, accounting for 35% of the total turnover of the port; private port operators handled 819 thousand tons (65% of the total volume). In particular, 469 thousand tons (37% of the total volume) by private port operators through the berths of SE “APU”.

The transshipment of transit cargo in February 2016 amounted to 138 thousand tons of export — 949 thousand tons, import — 170 thousand tons.

Liquid cargo handled at the port reached 144 thousand tons; bulk — 886 thousand tons, general cargo — 227 thousand tons.

Best results are achieved by the end of February in the processing of grain — 619 thousand tons (+ 30.5% as compared to the same period in 2015).

Total turnover in February of this year in the whole water area (excluding Ltd. “Ilyichivsk Sea Fishing Port”) amounted to 1 million 257 thousand tons, 120 ships handled and 13 thousand 264 cars.
