ODESSA, APRIL 5th, 2016, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — In January-March, total turnover of public and private stevedoring companies operating in the territory of Yuzhny Sea Port totaled 11 million 138.58 thousand tons, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of SE “Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine” reported today, April 5.

According to the operating data, total turnover for the Yuzhny Sea Port for 3 months was 11 million 138.58 thousand tons, which accounted for 93.4% in relation to January-March 2015, when cargo turnover reached 11 million 932.48 thousand tons.

Liquid cargo handled in the port for this period reached 924.26 thousand tons (75.9% compared to the January-March 2015); bulk dry cargo — 9 million 992.31 thousand tons (94.6%); unitized cargo — 222.01 thousand tons (143.8%).

At the same time the export of goods handled in the port for 3 months are 8 million 786.39 thousand tons, import — 1 million 397.93 thousand tons, transit — 954.26 thousand tons.
