ODESSA, JUNE 08 2016, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE -- Director of State Enterprise Sea Commercial Port «Yuzhny» Alexander Lagosha believes that competitiveness of stevedore companies depends largely on the professionalism of the staff, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie” reports.

This opinion was expressed by A. Lagosha, June 8, after a contest of professional skills among the dockers of the port employees.

According to him, thanks to modern technology and professional employees achieved a high speed of cargo handling, which in turn affects the profits of the enterprise, as well as the increase in wages and improvement of social package.

REFERENCE: Sea port «Yuzhny» -- a universal port which specializes in the transshipment of chemical goods and fertilizers, bulk, liquid bulk and general cargo. Sea Port of Yuzhny is located in the North-West area of the Black Sea, on the ice-free Adzhalyksky estuary. Businesses operating in the port, process about 47.5 million tons of various cargoes annually.

The depth of the approach channel and near the berths allow to handle large-capacity fleet with a full load capacity up to 200 thousand tons.
