ODESSA, 15 June 2016, Context-Prichernomorie — In the seaport «Yuzhny» held joint exercises of the services and the administration of SE «SCP «Yuzhny» according to the experimental program «blue envelopes», the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

According to the press service, in the sea port «Yuzhny», according to the experimental program of the «blue envelopes», held joint exercises between the services and the administration of SE «SCP «Yuzhny».

According to legend, shift Manager of administration of the sea port «Yuzhny» received an instruction about the occurrence of a fire in the pump-room in Park oil ship «Odessos». After an emergency on the ship, the captain quickly made the notification of fire protection SE «SCP «Yuzhny», reported to shift Manager of the administration of sea port «Yuzhny» and instructed the crew to start fure extinguishing by primary means. Shift Manager of the administration of sea port «Yuzhny» made an immediate notification of the members of the CoES, in accordance with the existing notification scheme.

Members of the CSF, consisting of representatives of fire service administration, security service of Maritime, port fleet, ecological safety in a matter of minutes arrived on the pilot boat «Neptune», then went to the scene.

The crew «Odessos» by own forces carried out the fire fighting. According to the announcement of the captain, two branches of the detachment of fire safety of SE SCP «Yuzhny» arrived on the ship for elimination of a fire, and immediately started to liquidate the fire. Also to extinguish the fire from the sea was involved the tugboat «Vladimir Ivanov», adapted for the purposes of fire fighting.

By the efforts of fire protection and towing fleet SE «SCP «Yuzhny» together with the crew of «Odessos» the fire was successfully extinguished. To prevent possible contamination of port waters, the emergency area was fenced with booms. Oil skimmer «the Ecologist» has monitored the status area.

Joint efforts of the participants of the exercises completed all activities necessary for a successful struggle for survivability of the marine facility on the water as a result of its fire.
