Odessa, 15 JULY 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie -- July 14-15, in the oil harbor of the Odessa port moored for unloading three tankers simultaneously, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

Agency was informed today, on July 15, by the press service of the Odessa Sea Port.

According to the press service, July 14-15, in oil harbor of the port of Odessa moored for unloading three tankers: two of them with the transit of fuel oil and one -- with imported oil. The total quantity of discharged filling should reach 122 thousand tons. One vessel -- m / v «VF Tanker-18» (6 thousand 532 tons of oil) has been processed and came out into the open sea, the other two — the M / V «Quartz» (31 thousand 154 tons of fuel oil) and m / v «Aegean Power» (84 thousand 931 tons of crude oil) have to leave harbor during the next 2-3 days.

According to the Deputy Chief dispatcher of the port authority Alexander Krikunov, cargo turnover of the oil harbor in this July should reach 205 thousand tons, 70 thousand tons higher than in July last year.

«In the first half of 2016, the average monthly volume of transshipment of oil and oil products in the port amounted to little more than 120 thousand tons, which is twice lower than in January-June last year. June was generally disastrous for us, we handled just over 50 thousand tons.

Therefore, setting for unloading of three tankers we perceived as an encouraging start of a better second half of the year ... Plus, we should note an interesting detail: over the last half century in the history of the Odessa port the oil harbor took for unloading three tankers simultaneously for the first time. All port services, representatives of oil depots and related organizations responsible for mooring, booking and docking technological processes, worked quickly and professionally», -- said Alexander Krikunov.
